Logic Block - Logic Gate Breakout Boards
Logic Block is a small open-hardware concept around making basic logic gates easier to use on the bench. The idea was to expose common logic functions through simple breakout boards, so they could be wired quickly into prototypes without building the same tiny support circuit every time.
It is a very geeky little project, but in a good way. Logic gates are basic components, yet they are still useful when you want to test a signal, combine conditions, invert something, or prototype a small digital behavior without jumping straight into a microcontroller.
What I like about the concept is that it treats simple electronics as something worth packaging properly. A good breakout board can make even basic parts more approachable and more reusable.
Logic Block is not one of my larger projects, but it fits the pattern of many things I build: small tools that remove friction from experimentation. Sometimes the best workshop projects are the ones that make the next test easier.
